Supply sequence managing is the scientific disciplines of adding the physical production environment with strategies to ensure satisfactory, consistent and timely source of raw materials, completed goods and services to meet up with the needs of customers. Source chain devices are built surrounding the decisions made by producers and distributors of goods. A supply system is described as a sequence of operations that ensures that things are offered from the point of foundation to the level of use. It includes all the periods of the supply process — from finding, production, transportation and storage space.

There are four stages of the source chain: sourcing, manufacturing, travelling and safe-keeping. In source chain, items are obtained from suppliers and converted into finished products. The moment sourcing, it is the first stage of the source process in which suppliers gather all the necessary information about the buyers and the suppliers they want to work together with. After finding, manufacturers generate and transport the goods, even though distributors store the products and deliver them to the finale users.

Every single stage in the supply sequence has its own certain functions and roles. The developing stage is the main part of the program where makers make and produce items to be offered to suppliers. Good companies are those who look after the quality criteria of the items they generate. On the other hand, suppliers are those who will take delivery of the goods to the end users. And lastly, storage area and circulation are the kept parts of the provision system wherever manufacturers and distributors to maintain the goods to get end-users and make sure they are in good condition once they are received.
